    Key Concepts

    Individual Training Plans

Each User has their training plan, which can be accessed from the Plans screen in QbDVision. From here, Training Administrators can customize an individual user’s training plan by adding relevant documents and Approved Curricula to meet that user’s training needs.

    Curricula

Training Administrators can create, approve, and assign a Training Curriculum to Departments in QbDVision. This is a great way to establish common training for departments and quickly assign it to a large number of Users. A Curriculum needs to be approved before it can be assigned to Users or Departments.

    Training Reports

Training reports, which summarize a user's training plans and progress, can be generated by selecting 'Reports' in the Training module. Each report can be customized by date, user(s), training status, and the version of the training plan of interest. Reports will exclude training that has been archived as of the date specified for generating the report.

    Frequently Asked Questions

How do I complete assigned training?

    • Here is a Loom that describes how to complete the training assigned to you in QbDVision.

What types of training are captured beyond Read and Understand? Can we get an acknowledgment from an SME that someone is considered trained?

    • Read and understand is the main type we support today. The user profile also has fields for tracking additional training-related documentation.

    • To address areas like SME training, we’ve seen customers either (1) modify their training SOP to accommodate external approval or (2) use the user profile record to store artifacts justifying SME or hands-on training.

How does retraining work? Will the system automatically send out retraining?

    • Retraining can be manually initiated from a user’s Individual Training Profile.

What happens if a user does not complete training by the deadline and is overdue on training?

    • The user will be notified that training is overdue. This notification will appear in the Alerts section for users with overdue training, their managers, Training Coordinators, users in the Quality Assurance department, and users in the Management department.
